ABOUT THE BPM SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION
The complexity and scale of PKP SA operation, as well as the creation of a new unit, Shared Service Center, spurred the company’s management to look for a platform which would be able to comprehensively and effectively support its business processes. The selected product was WEBCON BPS, and one of the main criteria was the easy handling of the platform.
WEBCON BPS system was used to optimize the accounting processes, e.g. invoice workflows (cost posting and approval), and to support the settlements of domestic and international travel allowances and business expenses. The system was positively received by the users and, therefore, since 2014, it has also been used to handle the holiday application workflow in PKP SA and has been expanded with the comprehensive support of fixed asset management and employee helpdesk.
During the implementation, the solution was integrated with the primary financial and HR system (SAP). At the moment the WEBCON BPS platform is used by approx. 2000 users at PKP SA.
