In 2009 the company chose to implement the system for cost and goods invoice workflow, requisition document workflow and fixed asset purchase workflow. The purpose of the solution based on SharePoint platform was to automate processes related to inputting, verification and approval of documents constituting the the record of a significant part of the company’s expenses.

With a document volume of approx. half a million per year, the platform was appreciated for its performance in the scanning and optical recognition (OCR) of the processed documents and their further handling. The choice of WEBCON BPS was also supported by the quick implementation and the company’s experience in the provision of similar solutions for the construction industry.

Due to perfect cooperation between the project team members on the side of the solution provider and the customer, the project was completed in the assumed, short time of two months.

The use of document scanners and OCR mechanisms embedded in the WEBCON solution allowed the document archiving and searching to be significantly simplified. Mutual integration with ERP-class IFS system has enabled the further automation of work. The solution enabled the improvement of productivity and practically eliminated errors in the company’s business records, which has led to a significant reduction in fixed expenses. The implemented system is used by more than 100 users.
