ABOUT THE BPM SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

Soilmoisture is a company providing instrumentation, software and services to agriculture and the earth sciences on a global basis. We offer over 300 products ranging from simple mechanical assemblages using pressure and vacuum, to high speed electronic devices and their associated software. In supplying these products and services we rely on a network of international dealers which provide our products to nearly 100 countries all over the World.

In the first half of 2014, we were looking for a product that would allow us to realize a concept of paperless office. At the same time we wanted it to offer broad range of capabilities, including: routing and authorization of electronic documents, display their status and check offs. Our priority was to find a tool that would be easy to implement, flexible and user friendly.

In June, we decided to purchase WEBCON Business Process Suite after looking at many domestic providers. Most offered only limited flexibility, were not easy to manage, a good number having strange and complex implementation processes involving excessive customer help that often was not there. In trying WEBCON BPS we found it intuitive and able to not only route and configure as demanded, but to provide sophisticated features ready for use in advanced global implementation with our dealer and distributor network around the World.

WEBCON BPS met all of our business requirements at substantially lower costs than any other software we’ve evaluated. Currently, we develop workflows and forms using only resources of our internal IT department, which makes the whole investment very cost-effective and allows us to respond to any changes quickly.

Throughout the whole process of assessment and implementation of the solution, WEBCON’s staff made every effort to respond to every inquiry and problems we had, including consultancy during transition from SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2013.
