DSI Underground Selects WEBCON for Global Process Digitization

DSI Underground, the world’s leading supplier of ground support products, systems and solutions for the underground mining and tunneling industry, has selected WEBCON BPS as its worldwide platform of choice for business process optimization and automation.

Once DSI Underground identified the need for business process automation and digitalization, they started identifying and selecting a platform that would support rapid business application delivery. Given the company’s global presence and complex IT landscape, DSI needed to choose a solution that would work within multiple locations, integrate with multiple line-of-business systems and accommodate multiple languages.

Selecting WEBCON BPS was a result of extensive testing under live conditions. DSI built a battery of applications for subsidiaries in Poland, Austria, Germany, and Luxembourg. This was immediately followed by a continuous improvement period in which multiple updates were deployed in response to user feedback. In the third phase, they expanded the deployment to Canada, Australia and other regions. The first wave of applications targeted a variety of operational, financial, and HR processes, but DSI’s usage of WEBCON technology is expanding to cover additional areas.
