ECS is one of the largest community-driven conference in the DACHL region in 2018, focusing on Microsoft’s products: SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Skype, and Project. WEBCON will support the 2018 edition on May 28-30 as the main partner.
More than 60 members of Microsoft’s product teams, MVPs, MCMs, and other experts, from 20 countries and five continents, will gather in Mainz, Germany, to join a series of full-day workshops, and a range of “what is new” and “best practices” sessions to discuss all the changes happening in the IT world now. The expected attendance is ca. 1000 IT and business professionals, mainly from the DACHL region and Scandinavia.
ECS 2018 is a brainchild of European Collaboration Summit, SharePoint Saturday Munich and SharePoint Stockholm, who joined forces to organize one of Europe’s largest SharePoint community events.
New ideas and tools for digital collaboration
The overarching theme of ECS 2018 is the interaction between digital transformation and collaboration. At ECS 2018, the hot topics will revolve around Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Skype and Azure. Apart from collaboration tools now available, the upcoming solutions and services by Microsoft and its partners will be discussed, with hybrid and new on-premises solutions as the new thing.
Confirmed speakers and conference ambassadors include world class speakers and legends like Dan Holme (Microsoft), and many more. This mix of world-best corporate (Microsoft) and MVP speakers is unique in Europe in 2018, guaranteeing a world-class event.
WEBCON's expert session: the latest trends in change management
WEBCON expert, Michal Rykiert, will present a session “Make delivering future-proof applications a reality with workflows and forms,” presenting the design principles of agile, future-proof applications. They are especially important since modern business process applications require constant updates, which can lead to sleepless nights for IT. Michal’s session (Wed, May 30.) will discuss workflows and forms, standardization and re-usability, as well as the ever-present issue of code vs no-code.
Join WEBCON and the ECS Community in Mainz
The community spirit at ECS 2018 will no doubt be more powerful than ever before. This year, visitors to WEBCON’s booth will have the chance to win a prize in a drawing and relax in a special, 36 sq. m. chillout zone, with sun decks and Superhero energy drinks.
Last year’s edition of ECS in Zagreb was a memorable event, so now that the event has grown, we expect an even more spectacular get-together of professionals related to Microsoft solutions for business, and hope to contribute to the community, says Lukasz Wrobel, CBDO and vice president of WEBCON.
