WEBCON is main partner of European Collaboration Summit 2018 Mainz, Germany

ECS is one of the largest community-driven conferences focusing on Microsoft’s products including SharePoint, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, Skype, and Project in Europe in 2018. WEBCON is supporting the 2018 edition on May 28-30 as the main partner.

More than 60 members of Microsoft’s product teams, MVPs, MCMs, and other experts from 20 countries and five continents will gather in Mainz for ECS 2018. They will join a series of full-day workshops and a range of “what is new” and “best practices” sessions to discuss all the changes happening in the IT world today. Around 1,000 IT and business professionals, mainly from the DACHL region and Scandinavia, are expected to attend.

The overarching theme of ECS 2018 is the interaction between the digital transformation and collaboration. At ECS 2018, the hot topics will revolve around Office365, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Skype and Azure. Apart from the collaboration tools now available, upcoming solutions and services by Microsoft and its partners will be discussed, with hybrid and new on-premises solutions taking stage as the “new thing”.

Confirmed hosts and conference ambassadors include world-renowned speakers and legends like Dan Holme (Microsoft), and many more. This mix of world-class corporate (Microsoft) and MVP speakers is unique in Europe in 2018, guaranteeing a truly memorable event.

ECS 2018 is the brainchild of the European Collaboration Summit, SharePoint Saturday Munich and SharePoint Stockholm, who joined forces to organize one of Europe’s largest SharePoint community events. No doubt the community spirit will be more powerful than ever before! Our great tradition adopted from the SharePoint conferences, the SharePint, will be a highlight of the closing evening. Last year’s edition of ECS in Zagreb was a memorable event, so now that the event has grown, we expect an even more spectacular get-together of professionals and look forward to supporting this fantastic community.

ECR Management

An engineering change request (ECR) to alter a product design can be triggered by various sources: audits, enhancement ideas, customer complaints, etc. A fix to a product design can be issued by any employee and the ultimate goal is quality improvement, which can directly influence revenue. By automating the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, you can bring better products to market faster. Forget missing deadlines, loosing documents, flawed decision-making due to poor visibility of the process, duplicating change requests. Instead, with a dedicated application, gain an overview of the changes that are underway, boost productivity, lower the process costs, eliminate bottlenecks and gather all information related to the ECRs in one place.

New Product Development

A well-managed product lifecycle process allows to bring better products to market faster.
