WEBCON at the Gartner Application Innovation and Business Solutions Summit 2026

WEBCON joined the Gartner Application Innovation and Business Solutions Summit in London to be part of the conversation on the future of IT for business in the AI-native era.

The room was worth being in. Analysts, technology leaders and practitioners were all in one place, comparing perspectives on the same challenges they face inside their organization. As our experts reported from the floor, one question kept coming up in sessions and conversations throughout the event: what separates an impressive AI pilot from a solution that actually changes how an organization works?

"One of the biggest problems that all the customers I engage with here came up with is their big concern about AI. That's governance. How to use it appropriately, how to extract value from it," said Rupert Schultes, EMEA Channel Director at WEBCON.

The pattern was hard to miss. Different companies, different industries – and the same open question.

Mark Mulder, Senior Pre-sales Consultant at WEBCON, picked up the same thread from the show floor:

"It's not just about having AI or an LLM, it's about everything that surrounds it. Having AI within a workflow, within processes, with the right context, in the right place, in touch with people. I think that combination is what it's all about, not just the AI."

That's the approach we brought to the summit, and it's the one shaping how we build. AI works best when it runs inside the process, close to the people and the context that give it meaning.
