WEBCON DAY participants once again confirmed that they are at the forefront of companies embracing a true digital revolution. This year's edition brought together hundreds of IT and business professionals from companies representing numerous industries.
The fifth edition of WEBCON DAY was held on May 18-19. Users and developers alike were able shared knowledge, experience and network with other professionals at the largest forum dedicated to streamlining business processes.
As WEBCON experts point out, the digital transformation is not just a transition from analog to digital, but a profound change in how businesses operate. In addition, it is a continuous process: one needs to adapt available IT tools to current company needs, while keeping future development in mind. But how can business keep up with an ever-increasing pace of change?
Companies that already use BPM (Business Process Management) and RAD (Rapid Application Development) systems can look boldly to the future. They are ready for any upcoming changes - says WEBCON President Radosław Putek, emphasizing that with BPM systems, organizations can not only keep pace with, but use change to their advantage.
In many companies, business applications are increasingly becoming critical and heavily used business resources. They support collaboration between departments and divisions, coordinate their operations, and significantly streamline decision-making processes. Delivering the right information at the right moment is critical to the success of business initiatives. Gartner, the world leader in IT consulting, calls this the "digital moment". At WEBCON DAY, representatives from SG Equipment Leasing Polska, CEDC, Rödl & Partner and the craft brewery Pracownia Piwa spoke about the paths that have led their companies to a new, digitized level. The speakers presented the many benefits of using BPM/RAD software, including:
- streamlining processes
- integrating IT and business
- strengthening market position
The second day of WEBCON DAY was dedicated to expert workshops on both technical and business topics, as well as the new features of WEBCON BPS.
The issue of digitization in a company was the focus of workshops on hardware architecture planning, and on the practical aspects of each of the phases of an implementation project.
Attendees learned about the capabilities of WEBCON BPS, including web configuration, business rules, site builds and configuration. They also explored the business advantages of using WEBCON BPS and especially appreciated the workshops on integration scenarios and document processing. This year's WEBCON DAY was a huge success. We are delighted that Polish companies are already becoming digitally mature. More and more companies are realizing that the key to delivering business applications is ensuring quick and effective change management, and we are pleased to support them in this process - says WEBCON President Radosław Putek.
