Throughout this time it has attracted many supporters who see it as a way to democratize technology and foster innovation. However, it has also faced some criticism from those who question its feasibility, quality, and security.

WEBCON’s VP North America, Mike Fitzmaurice and Synergy’s Senior Solutions Consultant, Jason Blair were among the earliest proponents of the movement, and fifteen years later, they’ve both seen a lot and thought through even more. And they’ve got some observations and opinions to share.
