First blog in German on WEBCON BPS kicks off at ESPC17

We’re thrilled to announce www.bps-kanns.de, a fabulous joint initiative by two of our Superhero Partners from Germany! This German-language blog dedicated to WEBCON and the digital transformation celebrated its launch at the largest conference for SharePoint professionals in Europe, the European Sharepoint Conference!

Philipp Brzezicki, SharePoint Consultant with Vater Gruppe and Ingo Zimmerman, Senior SharePoint Consultant at Net at Work have recently launched an expert blog in German dedicated to the WEBCON BPS platform at www.bps-kanns.de. The inauguration was announced at the European SharePoint, Azure and Office365 Conference 2017 in Dublin.

The two Superheroes met a year ago, at the European SharePoint Conference 2016 in Vienna. “We believe that WEBCON has developed a great solution for workflows in SharePoint with WEBCON BPS. That is why we support companies in the DACH region as WEBCON partners, implementing workflow projects with BPS”, explain Ingo and Phillip on their blog.

The website is focused on showcasing the possibilities offered by WEBCON BPS as well as practical tutorials, how-to’s and tips on the platform’s integration, in order to get the most out of it. The blog authors also keep their readers up to date with new features or updates introduced to WEBCON BPS. “We will also discuss common mistakes or stumbling blocks when implementing WEBCON BPS, and show how to quickly fix them”, say the Superheroes Ingo and Phillip, ensuring that they have many more aces up their sleeves coming up.

“Our Partners are fabulous, and bps-kanns.de is just one of many pieces of evidence to prove it”, comments Lukasz Wrobel, CBDO WEBCON. “The entire initiative was kept secret until launch day, and left us positively speechless! All the more impressive that these two Superheroes are from two different organizations operating in Germany. Hats off, Ingo and Phillip, our hearts go out for you and your project. Good luck!”

ECR Management

An engineering change request (ECR) to alter a product design can be triggered by various sources: audits, enhancement ideas, customer complaints, etc. A fix to a product design can be issued by any employee and the ultimate goal is quality improvement, which can directly influence revenue. By automating the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process, you can bring better products to market faster. Forget missing deadlines, loosing documents, flawed decision-making due to poor visibility of the process, duplicating change requests. Instead, with a dedicated application, gain an overview of the changes that are underway, boost productivity, lower the process costs, eliminate bottlenecks and gather all information related to the ECRs in one place.

New Product Development

A well-managed product lifecycle process allows to bring better products to market faster. With WEBCON BPS, you can provide an enterprise-wide solution that will streamline product development process, improve collaboration between departments, and provide seamless access to all product-related data. From submitting an idea, through research, creating a prototype, testing, designing the packaging, up to manufacturing, introducing the product to the market, and analyzing the feedback – a dedicated application will make sure everyone involved is well-informed on the assigned tasks, and the management gains visibility to improve productivity, and spot any bottlenecks along the way.
